Alaafin visits President Tinubu in Abuja

The Alaafin of Oyo Kingdom, Oba Akeem Abimbola Owoade I, on Friday paid a visit to President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Oba Owoade I was accompanied by his wife, Olori Abiwumi Owoade, and a delegation of traditional rulers from Oyo State.

Earlier on Thursday, the Alaafin received a rousing welcome at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport by his subjects in the nation’s capital, led by a member of the House of Representatives and a prince of Oyo, Hon. Akeem Adeyemi, a.k.a. Skimeh.

During the Friday meeting, President Tinubu was joined by his Chief of Staff, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, and other senior government officials and aides, including the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris.
