APC campaign council reshuffles youth, women mobilisation leadership

The All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council has established a new directorate for stage organisation and management and reshuffled the leadership of its youth and women mobilisation directorates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The changes were announced in a statement issued on Monday by Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, secretary of the PBAT/APC 2027 Presidential Campaign Council.
Under the new arrangement, Farouk Aliyu has been appointed director of the Directorate of Stage Organisation and Management, while Adejare Bello will serve as co-director.
The council also named the Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, as director of youth mobilisation, with Dayo Israel appointed deputy director.
For the women mobilisation directorate, Mary Aille Idele will serve as director, while former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Betta Edu, was named deputy director. Imaan Suleman will serve as secretary of the directorate.
Uzodimma said the restructuring was designed to strengthen the council’s organisational framework, improve coordination among its various units and enhance operational efficiency ahead of the elections.
He said the appointments were also intended to establish an inclusive campaign structure capable of mobilising Nigerians, particularly youths and women, behind President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid.
The governor urged the appointees to deploy their experience and organisational skills in their respective roles and work with other directorates to execute the council’s mobilisation and campaign strategies.
