The All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended its congratulations to Nigerians on the nation’s 64th Independence anniversary, acknowledging the resilience and determination of citizens and the sacrifices made by Nigeria’s founding fathers.

In a statement released on Sunday, APC National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka paid tribute to the country’s pioneers, whose “courage, doggedness, sacrifices, and patriotism” earned Nigeria its independence and enabled its continued journey toward peace, unity, and prosperity.

The APC highlighted the “Renewed Hope Agenda” of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, which it described as a strategic plan aimed at overcoming challenges that have impeded the nation’s progress.

According to the statement, the Tinubu administration is committed to making “bold and difficult policy decisions” necessary to reset the country’s economic foundation for sustainable growth and development.

While acknowledging that some of the reforms have caused short-term economic hardship, the APC reassured Nigerians of the President’s “iron-clad commitment” to easing these difficulties.

The party reiterated Tinubu’s dedication to improving living conditions and advancing the common good for all citizens, urging the public to be patient and continue supporting the government as the nation moves toward a more prosperous future.

“The dawn of a new era of prosperity beckons,” the statement added, emphasizing that the APC-led government remains determined to leave a legacy of growth and prosperity for future generations.

The APC concluded by wishing Nigerians a peaceful and joyful Independence anniversary, expressing optimism for the country’s continued progress.
