APC mobilises Ekiti members for e-registration, emphasises commitment

By Boye Oyeyemi –
The All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State has called on its members to actively take part in the ongoing nationwide electronic registration exercise being conducted by the party.
The Ekiti APC e-registration coordinator and Commissioner for Youth Development, Adesola Adedayo, said the exercise would help reaffirm members’ loyalty and strengthen the party ahead of future elections.
Adedayo spoke on Tuesday in Ado-Ekiti during a meeting with senatorial coordinators and local government supervisors, explaining that the programme followed earlier training of ward-level agents.
He said the exercise, approved by the Prof Nentawe Yilwatda-led National Working Committee, would run daily across the state’s 177 wards for eligible members aged 18 and above with valid voter cards and National Identification Numbers.
According to him, the registration would deepen the party’s grassroots structure, improve membership records and enable the APC to accurately assess its support base ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The commissioner urged supervisors to mobilise members at the ward level and provide necessary guidance to ensure smooth participation, stressing that sustained membership growth was vital to the party’s survival.
Also speaking, APC State Chairman, Sola Elesin, who has completed his registration, encouraged members to follow suit, describing participation as a demonstration of loyalty and readiness to contribute to the party’s electoral success.
