By Adejayan Gbenga –
The Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) in Oyo State have inaugurated Local Government Area coordinators across the state to ensure the success of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming 2027 elections.
The inauguration ceremony, held on Monday at the APC State Secretariat in Oke-Ado, Ibadan, was described as a strategic move to consolidate party structures and improve coordination at the grassroots level.
Speaking at the event, the Oyo State Ambassador of the Renewed Hope Agenda, Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin, charged the coordinators to mobilise party members and supporters in backing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid and ensuring the overall success of the APC in the state.
He noted that the group aims to achieve at least a 35 per cent improvement on the party’s 2023 presidential election performance in 2027.
Folarin urged the coordinators to work closely with existing APC structures, respect party hierarchy, and maintain discipline while effectively communicating government policies and achievements to the grassroots.
He emphasised that the group is expected to build public confidence, gather local feedback, and sustain community engagement.
The South-West Zonal Coordinator of the RHA, Senator Dayo Adeyeye, expressed optimism that President Tinubu would secure a landslide victory in 2027, urging the coordinators to actively canvass support across their respective local governments.
Other APC leaders present at the event included the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu; Senators Abdulfatai Buhari, Sharafadeen Alli, and Ayo Adeseun; former Oyo APC Chairman Chief Akin Oke; and the current State Chairman, Pharm. Olayide Abass.
