APC’s Ajakaye pledges quality representation if elected in 2027

The All Progressives Congress candidate for Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency, Dr. Rafiu Ajakaye, has pledged to provide quality representation and justify the confidence of constituents if elected in the 2027 National Assembly election.
Ajakaye, a former chief press secretary to Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, made the pledge on Wednesday during separate thank-you visits to APC members in Offa and Oyun local government areas.
He said the visits were to appreciate party members in the two local governments for supporting the zoning of the House of Representatives ticket to Ifelodun Local Government Area, which, according to him, had not produced a representative since 1999.
Addressing party supporters, Ajakaye pledged to provide effective representation that would have a positive impact on the lives of his constituents, assuring them that he would remain accessible and committed to their interests.
“I am irrevocably committed to representing my constituency well if elected. I will be your good ambassador, and I will not look down on party members or be ungrateful to you. I will not disappoint you by the grace of Almighty Allah. I will justify the confidence you have reposed in me,” he said.
Ajakaye also urged party members to support all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections, from the presidential candidate to candidates contesting state-level positions.
The Chairman of Ifelodun Local Government Area, Femi Yusuf, former Kwara State House of Assembly Leader Hassan Oyeleke and the Chairman of Offa Local Government Area, Suleiman Olatunji, expressed confidence in Ajakaye, describing him as a grassroots politician who would prioritise the interests of the people.
Similarly, the Deputy Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Ojo Olayiwola, and the Oyun LGA Chairman, Kamal Akanbi, described Ajakaye as an honest and straightforward person who would deliver on his promises, while APC members in Offa and Oyun pledged to support him and other party candidates in the 2027 elections.
