APC’s Farouk Arisekola flags off Ibadan North campaign Oct 1
The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Ibadan North Federal Constituency in the 2027 general election, Umar Farouk Arisekola, will on Thursday, October 1, 2026, flag off his campaign in the constituency.
The campaign flag-off is scheduled to hold at the Yemetu Police Barracks in Ibadan, Oyo State, with party leaders, members, supporters and other stakeholders expected to attend.
The event will provide Farouk with an opportunity to present his agenda to residents of Ibadan North and engage directly with constituents on issues affecting the constituency.
Speaking ahead of the flag-off, the former Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports said his aspiration was driven by a desire to provide effective representation and contribute to the development of the constituency.
Farouk, who served as the South-West Coordinator for Buhari-Osinbajo in 2015, said the campaign would focus on listening to constituents and addressing their concerns.
“This campaign is not just about seeking votes; it is about presenting a vision for a better Ibadan North Federal Constituency. I am seeking the mandate of our people because I believe there is more we can do in terms of representation, empowerment and development. I want to use the opportunity of this campaign to listen to our people, understand their concerns and work with them to address the challenges facing our communities.”
He urged APC members, supporters and residents of the constituency to attend the flag-off and participate actively in the campaign.
According to him, the people deserve a representative who would remain accessible, responsive and committed to their interests.
