Ayanwole Bamise’s murder: Court sends BRT driver to Ikoyi prison

A Lagos State High Court has ruled that a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) driver, Nice Ominnikoron, linked to the murder of his 22-year-old passenger, Oluwabamise Ayanwole, be remanded at Ikoyi Correction Centre pending commencement of full trial.
The court further ruled that the driver should be brought back before it on May 9, 10 and 11, 2022 when the case would be heard.
Ruling in the case on Tuesday, Justice Sherifat Sonaike said that the adjournment became necessary after the suspected BRT driver pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against him.
