BBNaija season 9: Nelly clarifies relationship status with Sooj

Intrigue and drama have surrounded Big Brother Naija’s ‘No Loose Guard’ season, especially since Biggie dissolved the paired housemates.

In this light, Nelly and Sooj, who have appeared to be romantically involved, have now clarified their relationship status.

Recently, Nelly revealed that she is not dating Sooj, despite their close interactions in the house.

During a conversation with fellow housemates Chizoba and Ben, Nelly stated, “We are not dating; we are just there,” after Chizoba asked if their relationship would continue outside the house.

This clarification follows Sooj’s earlier statement that he couldn’t marry a woman with tattoos, while Nelly has several tattoos.

Ben had also speculated that Nelly and Sooj’s relationship would not last beyond the show, citing age and financial differences as potential issues.
