BBNaija season 9: Ozee denies being Onyeka’s boyfriend

Big Brother Naija No Loose Guard housemate, Ozee, has refuted claims that he is romantically involved with fellow housemate Onyeka, despite their close friendship.

The reality star emphasized that their relationship has become emotionally draining, and he has no romantic intentions toward her.

Ozee’s remarks come after Onyeka refused to engage with him following the eviction of her twin sister, Chizoba, on Sunday night. During a conversation with fellow housemate Shaun, Ozee expressed frustration, stating that Onyeka’s assumptions about their relationship weren’t justified.

He pointed out that it was the parrot’s revelation, not any confirmation from Ebuka during the eviction show, that stirred up the rumors of a deeper connection between them.

Reflecting on his friendship with Onyeka, Ozee admitted that the emotional intensity of their relationship has become overwhelming. He voiced his irritation over what he perceives as undue emotional expectations from Onyeka.

“These relationships are starting to irritate me. I shouldn’t have to spend time explaining things or dealing with unnecessary drama in a friendship. It’s not that deep,” he explained. “If this were real life, I would just walk away because I don’t have the time for this.”

Ozee added that Onyeka’s emotional demands feel more like something expected from a romantic partner, which he is not willing to be. “I feel like she’s expecting boyfriend behavior from me, and I’m not her boyfriend. I’m tired of it,” he concluded, clearly expressing his desire to set boundaries within their relationship.
