The Diocese also called on the faithful to pray for the peaceful repose of Bishop Fagun’s soul, while extending prayers of comfort and strength to his family, friends, and the entire Catholic community in Ekiti.

“May God continue to bless, sustain, strengthen, protect, and guide the Catholic Diocese of Ekiti, Bishop Fagun’s family, friends, and well-wishers. May our Blessed Mother, the Virgin Mary, intercede for us all,” the statement added.
