Controversial social media influencer and self-acclaimed relationship expert, Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has issued a public apology to Nigerians following backlash over alleged fake cancer claims.

Recall that Blessing was recently petitioned to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), as well as one Deborah Mbara, who claims to be the original owner of the medical reports presented by Blessing during her cancer claims.

In a video released on Wednesday via her Instagram page, Blessing expressed regret over the controversy, describing it as “unnecessary drama.”

She said, “I want to say I’m sorry, very sorry to my loved ones, fans, well-wishers and Nigerians. I am sorry for the unnecessary drama, embarrassment and controversy surrounding my health issues.”

She, however, insisted that she did not lie about her health condition, adding that she would henceforth ensure greater transparency by sharing detailed medical updates, including reports and procedures from scans to biopsy.

Blessing also expressed appreciation to those who supported her financially during the period, acknowledging their contributions and prayers.

She further addressed critics calling for refunds, stating that she is willing to reimburse donors, provided they present proof of payment alongside their account details for verification and refund processing.
