BREAKING: Aiyedatiwa appoints commissioner, three advisers, 1,000 aides

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has approved the appointment of a commissioner, three special advisers and 1,000 political aides as part of efforts to strengthen his administration and enhance service delivery across the state.
The governor nominated Erelu Taibat Yemi Oloruntoba from Akoko North-West Local Government Area as commissioner for special duties, with her name forwarded to the Ondo State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
Similarly, Aiyedatiwa appointed Hon. Abimbola Fajolu as special adviser on environment, Chief Ade Adeniyi as special adviser on rural and community development, and Mr Muyiwa Ogunyemi as special adviser on transport.
The governor also appointed five senior special advisers, including Erelu Toyin Ogungbure for women mobilisation (South), Bidemi Obayangbon for forestry, Gboluge Olufunmi Alex for community engagement (South), Hon. Akin Adeniyi for community engagement (Central), and Obayan Theophilus Ayodeji for community engagement (North).
Others are Kelvin Solomon, students affairs; Adeolu Iwakun, volunteer services; Samson Job Bazuaye, oil and gas; Fade Ojamomi, youth empowerment and job creation; Sam Adepoju, public engagement; and Alhaji Samad Orijeminiyi, scholarship.
In addition, Victor Omodara was appointed senior special adviser on grassroots mobilisation, Abayomi Adefolalu as senior special adviser on photography, while Alhaji Abdukadiri Adenoyi, Prince Nzuoma Egbulefu and Alhaji Garba Goni were appointed senior special advisers on non-indigenes.
According to the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, the full list of 90 senior special assistants and 910 special assistants would be released later, bringing the number of political aides to 1,000.
Adeniyan said the appointments took immediate effect, adding that they were aimed at strengthening governance, expanding grassroots engagement and enhancing service delivery across Ondo State.
