BREAKING: Fire guts part of Olowu market in Ikeja
Some parts of Olowu market in Ikeja area of Lagos were on Thursday destroyed by fire.
The Olowu market mostly deals in air-condition parts.
An eye witness disclosed that the fire started around 1am.
It was gathered that goods worth hundreds of millions of naira were destroyed in the inferno.
As at the time of filing this report, officials of the Lagos State fire services were still on ground to salvage the situation.
It would be recalled that two days ago, fire gutted the popular Balogun market on Lagos Island where one person died and seven others sustained injuries.
