BREAKING: Gov Aiyedatiwa dissolves SUBEB, other boards over tenure expiration

The Ondo State Government has announced the dissolution of the boards of some parastatals and commissions following the expiration of their tenure.
The development was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan.
According to the statement, the affected agencies include the Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board, the Local Government Service Commission, the Muslim Welfare Board, and the Christian Welfare Board.
“The Ondo State Government announces the expiration of tenure and consequent dissolution of the Boards of some parastatals and commissions in the state, with immediate effect,” the statement read.
It also stated that education secretaries across the 18 LGAs of the state are affected by the decision, therefore directing all affected officials, including chairmen, commissioners, and board members, to hand over to the most senior administrative officers in their respective offices.
“Also affected with the expiration of tenure are the Education Secretaries of the 18 Local Government Areas of the State,” it added.
Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, according to the statement, appreciated the outgoing officials, saying, “The Governor expresses profound appreciation to all affected for their service, dedication, and contributions to the development of the State during their tenure.”
