Olaosebikan declares for Reps, pledges support for Tinubu’s reelection in 2027

As former Oluyole LG chairman donates secretariat to Oyo APC

Former Chairman of Oluyole Local Government Area of Oyo State, Alhaji Kehinde Olatunji Olaosebikan, has reaffirmed his commitment to mobilising support for the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.

Olaosebikan made this known on Monday while declaring his intention to seek the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket to contest for the Oluyole Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives at the party’s weekly meeting in the local government.

The former chief press secretary to late Governor Lam Adesina also donated a new secretariat to the APC in the area, describing it as a step towards strengthening party activities at the grassroots.

Addressing party members, Olaosebikan said he was already mobilising support across party lines for Tinubu’s reelection, expressing confidence that the president would secure victory based on his reform agenda.

He attributed his confidence to the policies being implemented under the Renewed Hope Agenda, adding that many residents in the constituency had indicated willingness to support the APC in future elections.

“Members of other political parties in Oluyole Local Government are already assuring me that if the APC gives me the ticket, they will mobilise their members not only for my election but for all APC candidates in the next election,” he said.

Speaking on the donation of the secretariat, Olaosebikan said the facility would provide a more conducive environment for party operations, including offices for executives and meeting spaces for members.

On his plans for the constituency, Olaosebikan pledged to promote development, facilitate education support, create employment opportunities and empower youths through skills acquisition programmes, while also supporting women and indigent students.
