BREAKING: Obi, Kwankwaso in closed-door meeting with NDC leadership amid defection talks

Former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, and former Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, have arrived at the residence of the National Leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, in what appears to be a significant step in their political realignment.

The two politicians were sighted on Sunday at the NDC leader’s residence, where they are currently engaged in a closed-door meeting.

Their visit comes hours after Obi announced his resignation from the African Democratic Congress (ADC), citing legal challenges and internal crises within the party.

Sources indicate that the meeting is part of ongoing consultations ahead of a possible move to the NDC, although details of the discussions have not been made public.

As of the time of filing this report, the outcome of the meeting remains unclear.

Details later.
