BREAKING: Ondo ADC Vice Chairman, Eric Oluwole, resigns

The Vice Chairman of the African Democratic Congress in Ondo State, Dr Eric Oluwole, has resigned from the party, citing reasons bordering around unresolved internal disputes as his driving factor.
Oluwole, who oversaw the Ondo Central Senatorial District for the party, conveyed his decision in a resignation letter addressed to the leadership of Ward 7 in Ondo West Local Government Area on Thursday.
He explained that his exit was prompted by what he described as “irreconcilable differences stemming from the lingering leadership crisis within the party”.
The former chieftain equally noted that his decision followed extensive consultations with political associates, supporters, and members of his structure, all of whom were affected by the internal wrangling.
According to him, the prolonged crisis had not only hindered his political ambitions but also limited the ability of his supporters to contribute meaningfully to the political development of the state and the country.
Oluwole further expressed concern about the party’s future, stressing that the situation within the party had become increasingly difficult to comprehend as it posed a threat to his political career and broader democratic progress.
He indicated that unity, forgiveness, and reconciliation were essential for any political party seeking to make a meaningful impact, lamenting that such qualities were lacking in the ADC.
The politician eventually disclosed that he and his loyalists would be seeking a new political platform, where they could continue their political pursuits and contribute to governance in a more stable environment.
