BREAKING: PDP disqualifies two presidential aspirants

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has disqualified two presidential aspirants ahead of the 2023 general elections.

The two aspirants were disqualified after the screening on Friday.

Chairman of the screening committee, Senator David Mark, announced this after the exercise.

According to Mark, the two disqualified aspirants are to forfeit the N40 million each of them paid for the expression of interest and nomination forms

He, however, failed to name the identities of the affected aspirants and the reason(s) for their disqualification when asked by journalists.

“Why should the party refund the money?” Mark asked.
