[Photo] – Police confirm death of Ondo suspect in alleged beheading case

The Ondo State Police Command has confirmed the death of a young man identified as Emmanuel, who was accused of beheading his brother, Daniel, in Odigbo, Ondo State.
Emmanuel reportedly died from injuries sustained during a mob attack following the gruesome incident, which drew widespread outrage from residents of the area.
According to eyewitnesses, the suspect was apprehended by an angry mob shortly after the act and was severely beaten before being taken to the hospital.

In a brief confirmation on Tuesday, the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Olayinka Alayande, said, “Yes, the suspect died in the hospital.”
The circumstances leading to the alleged killing remain unclear, and police say investigations are ongoing.
