BREAKING: Senior aide to Ondo Governor tenders resignation

The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor of Ondo State on Community Engagement (North), Bode Obanla, has resigned his appointment.
Obanla conveyed his decision in a letter dated July 16, 2025, addressed to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa. He stated that the resignation would take effect from July 17.
According to him, the move was to enable him focus on his growing business, which now requires his full attention.
He noted that all government property in his custody, including the Hilux van attached to his office, had been returned through the office of the SSA on Community Engagement (Central).

Obanla thanked Governor Aiyedatiwa for the opportunity to serve, stating that his role allowed him to identify areas in the Northern Senatorial District that require urgent government attention.
He added that the experience had enriched his public service journey and prayed for divine reward for the governor’s leadership.
