‘We stand with Adeleke’ — Osun commissioners pledge loyalty amid speculation

The Forum of Osun State Commissioners has passed a unanimous vote of confidence on Governor Ademola Adeleke, pledging unwavering loyalty to his leadership and readiness to follow his political direction amid speculations about his future political alignment.

The resolution was reached at a meeting held in Osogbo, presided over by the forum chairman and Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs, Aare Ganiyu Ayobami Olaoluwa, with commissioners from all ministries in attendance.

In a communiqué issued at the end of the meeting, the forum expressed full support for Governor Adeleke’s leadership, vision, and development agenda, regardless of party platform.

“We, the members of the Osun State Commissioners’ Forum, having extensively deliberated on the current political atmosphere, hereby declare our total loyalty and absolute confidence in the purposeful, inclusive, and people-centered leadership of His Excellency, Governor Ademola Adeleke,” the communiqué read in part.

It added: “We unanimously resolved that wherever our Governor leads, we shall follow. Our commitment is to the people of Osun State, and we believe that Governor Adeleke remains the most credible driver of the developmental vision we all share.”

The commissioners also endorsed Adeleke’s ongoing political consultations and reaffirmed their support as loyal cabinet members and public servants committed to delivering on the Imole mandate.

They further declared their unity under the banner of progress, development, and transformative governance, emphasizing, “We are Imole till 2030 and beyond.”
