BREAKING: Swearing in of new ministers begins in Abuja

The swearing in of 45 ministers-designate confirmed by the Senate is ongoing at the State House Conference Centre in Abuja.

The ministers who were assigned their portfolios last week are expected to begin work immediately.

WesternPost reported on Sunday that President Bola Tinubu made a minor reshuffle to the portfolio assignment.

Former Osun State Governor Gboyega Oyetola was moved from the Ministry of Transportation to the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy, while Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo who was earlier named Minister of Marine and Blue Economy was moved to the Ministry of Interior.

Abubakar Momoh was also moved from the Ministry of Youth to the Ministry of Niger Delta Development, while Sa’idu Alkali was reassigned to the Ministry of Transportation from the Ministry of Interior. A new Minister of Youth is expected to be named.
