BREAKING: Temi Nkem wins BBNaija season 11, takes home N160m prize
By Damilola Akinwale –
Big Brother Naija housemate, Temi Nkem, has emerged as the winner of season 11 of the reality show, taking home the N160 million prize package after 10 weeks of intense competition, rivalry and drama.
Temi’s victory was announced during the grand finale on Sunday night after she emerged among the top three housemates alongside Aikou and Sheba.
The season began with 24 housemates before the competition was gradually narrowed down to the finalists. The finalists were Temi Nkem, Barry, Tram, Oyin, Flora, Sheba, Aikou, Ricky and Bluethopia.
Barry was the first finalist to be evicted during the live finale, followed by Oyin, Ricky and Flora as the show progressed towards the decisive stage.
Temi, whose real name is Temitope Chigbue, is a 21-year-old accounting student and the youngest of the season 11 housemates. She is British-Nigerian, with her father from Delta State and mother from Lagos.
During her unveiling on the show, Temi described herself as bold, confident, outspoken and a good listener, while admitting to being egotistical and revengeful when her ego is hurt. These traits often brought her into conflict with other housemates, particularly Oyin and Flora, whom she referred to as “local girls”.
The London-based housemate formed alliances during her stay in the house, notably with Goddessa, Sheba and Tram. She also won Biggie’s “Most Unpredictable” award during the season.
Temi ultimately outlasted the remaining contestants to claim the title and become the latest winner of the BBNaija franchise, capping a season marked by tasks, nominations, evictions, rivalries and public support.
