UPDATE: Oyetola, Bagudu, Lalong, Matawalle, 15 others in second ministerial list

President Bola Tinubu has transmitted the second list of ministerial nominees to the Senate.

Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila submitted the letter containing the list to Senate President Godswill Akpabio during plenary on Wednesday

Reading the letter on the floor of the Senate, Akpabio said the new list contains 19 names.

This brings to 47 the total number of ministerial nominees.

The nominees are:

● Dr Isiaka Salako
● Dr Tunji Alausa
●Tanko Sunisi
●Atiku Bagudu
●Bello Matawalle
●Ibrahim Gaida
●Simon Bako Lalong
● Lola Ade John
●Prince Abubbakar Audu

●Senator Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi
● Senator Alkali Samani

●Senator Hennekeins Lokpori
●Gboyega Oyetola
●Prof Tahir Mamman
● Umar Magari Ahmad
● Hazzaniah Jisalo

They will be screened on Friday, August 4, 2023. The exercise begins at 11 am.
