Celtic seal double glory as Iheanacho scores in cup final

Nigerian international Kelechi Iheanacho was among the goalscorers as Celtic F.C. secured their second trophy in one week.

It was a memorable outing for the left-footed forward, who came off the bench to score and help Celtic complete a league and cup double.

Iheanacho scored Celtic’s third goal in the 72nd minute as the club defeated second-division side Dunfermline Athletic F.C. 3-1 to win the Scottish Cup.

A few minutes earlier, the Super Eagles striker had seen an effort ruled out for offside.

Last weekend, Iheanacho also played a key role as the Glasgow giants clinched the Scottish Premiership title ahead of Heart of Midlothian F.C. on the final day of the season.
