Chelsea stage comeback to edge West Ham 3-2 in London derby

Chelsea secured a sensational 3-2 victory over West Ham at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, thanks to a stoppage-time goal from midfielder Enzo Fernandez.
The Blues found themselves trailing after first-half strikes from Jarrod Bowen and Crysencio Summerville left the home crowd frustrated. Despite the boos at half-time, Chelsea responded with renewed intensity in the second half.
Joao Pedro opened the comeback with a header, before Marc Cucurella levelled the scores with a diving header. The decisive moment came in stoppage time when Fernandez converted Pedro’s cross, marking his 150th appearance for the club in style.
The match boiled over in the final seconds as West Ham’s Jean-Clair Todibo was sent off for violent conduct.
Manager Liam Rosenior, who described the fixture as Chelsea’s “biggest match of the season,” celebrated his third consecutive Premier League win since taking over from Enzo Maresca.
This victory lifted Chelsea to fourth place in the league, reinforcing Rosenior’s impressive start with six wins in seven games across all competitions.
Chelsea now turn their attention to overturning a 3-2 deficit against Arsenal in the second leg of the League Cup semi-final on Tuesday, hoping to continue their remarkable run.
