Cleric predicts impeachment of Ondo deputy governor, cautions Aiyedatiwa on crisis

By Boye Oyeyemi –

The General Overseer of God Central Ministry, Ekiti State, Prophet Olumuyiwa Akogun, has predicted a looming political crisis in Ondo State, warning of a possible impeachment of Deputy Governor Olaide Aiyedatiwa.

In a video circulating on social media, the cleric claimed he received a revelation concerning the relationship between Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and his deputy.

Speaking during a church service, Akogun said he saw what he described as a “breaking news” announcement indicating that the deputy governor had been removed from office.

He explained that in the vision, the governor and his deputy were standing one behind the other before a sudden storm emerged and separated them, symbolising a serious conflict.

“I saw the image of the deputy governor and news of impeachment. A step will be taken that will trigger chaos between the governor and the deputy. It will be a serious issue,” he said.

The prophet urged both leaders to embrace unity and reconciliation, warning that failure to do so could pave the way for political turmoil in the state.

As of the time of filing this report, there was no official confirmation of any rift or impeachment move against the deputy governor.
