Coalition will unseat APC, rescue Nigeria – Former ADC secretary

A former State Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Oluwatosin Israel Ayeni, says the emerging political coalition in Nigeria is poised to unseat the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and end years of hardship caused by poor governance.

Speaking in an interview with Western Post, Ayeni described the coalition as more than a political alliance, calling it a mass-driven movement set to reshape Nigeria’s political future ahead of the 2027 general elections.

“By the grace of God, yes, this coalition will take over governance in Nigeria. Definitely, it will send the APC into extinction,” he stated.

On whether the movement enjoys support from established politicians in Ondo State, Ayeni said the coalition draws its strength from the grassroots, not the political elite.

“We have the support of more than what you call ‘big politicians.’ The masses are solidly behind this movement, and I think that’s bigger than big politicians,” he said.

Ayeni noted that the movement’s primary goal is to rescue Nigerians from economic hardship and years of political mismanagement.

He emphasized that the coalition goes beyond regular politics, describing it as a mission to reform governance and deliver real change.

“The masses are ready for a political revolution toward achieving the best of governance. That’s exactly what the coalition stands for,” he added.
