Be wary of ethno-religious politicians-Lagos lawmaker counsels Nigerians

A Lagos lawmaker, Hon. Lukmon Olumoh, said Nigerians should not allow politicians to use ethno-religious sentiments to divide them.

Olumoh represents Ajeromi/Ifelodun Constituency 1 in the Lagos State House of Assembly.

The lawmaker, while speaking with journalists at his 31st Annual Ramadan Lecture held in Ajegunle, said that his victory at the poll on March 18 was a testimony of his performance in his first term.

” No politicians will come to Ajegunle to use ethnicity and religion to divide us. We in this constituency are above such sentiments. During the elections, people in this area voted beyond sentiments. People in PDP and LP voted APC and that is why I thank PDP and LP supporters for voting me and the APC. It is a common knowledge that they supported us, so in Ajegunle we are above religious and ethnic sentiments, we are one united family.
