Don’t play pranks with God, Mike Bamiloye warns

Renowned actor, producer, and founder of Mount Zion Faith Ministries, Mike Bamiloye, has issued a stern warning to individuals and clergy members who engage in deceit by delivering fake testimonies in churches.
In a recent Instagram post, Bamiloye condemned those who intentionally fabricate stories, describing their actions as “playing pranks with God.” He criticized both clergymen and congregation members who resort to falsehoods in their testimonies, as well as bloggers who spread misinformation for personal gain.
He wrote, “Playing pranks with God! If you stand on the Lord’s Altar to deliberately give false testimonies, you are playing pranks with God! If you take the sacred Altar of God and tell lies about what He has not done, you are playing pranks with God! If you arrange a fake testimony to excite the congregation, you are playing pranks with God!”
Bamiloye further addressed bloggers, accusing some of being complicit in embarrassing the church. “If the devil sets you up to embarrass the Church through reckless blogging, you are playing pranks with God! And you bloggers, employed and paid by the devil to drag the Church through the mud for monetization, are ignorant of the fact that you are being used by the devil.”
He reminded his followers of God’s omnipotence, declaring, “God is Unlimited! There is nothing He cannot do! He brought water from a rock, walked on the sea, drew a coin from a fish’s mouth, turned water into wine, and multiplied bread in the hands of His disciples. The entire Bible is full of mind-blowing miracles!”
Bamiloye concluded with a strong warning to those engaging in falsehood for profit. “If the Devil has given you a gift, and you come to the Lord’s Altar to give God the glory for it, you are playing pranks with God! He would not take the dirty glory of the Devil. The judgment of God is hanging upon all pranksters making a mockery of God and the Body of Christ. It is a terrible judgment!”
He emphasized the spiritual consequences of such actions, warning, “These individuals have misled weak Christians, discouraged new converts, and hardened the hearts of many unbelievers. For the sake of monetization, they are risking their souls and inviting God’s judgment upon themselves.”
