Elegbeleye named to IBB Golf Club interim board

The Chairman of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), Honourable Gbenga Elegbeleye, has been appointed as a member of the interim management board of the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB) Golf Club.

According to a press release signed by Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication and Social Media, the appointment of Elegbeleye and other board members, led by Dr. Peter Deshi, was approved by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.

With the NPFL experiencing significant progress under his leadership, Honourable Elegbeleye is expected to bring his expertise and success-driven approach to his new role.

Other members of the board include Barrister Yomi Oyekola, who will serve as secretary; Arc. Nanwor Mamven; Arc. Arabi Bello; Mrs. Ekanem Ekwueme; Lawan Aboki; Okey Nnaedozie; Fred Otobo; and Julius Fadairo.

The FCT Minister, while congratulating the appointees, urged them to work diligently towards repositioning the IBB Golf Club.

The board is expected to assume duties immediately.
