EPL: Ola Aina scores as Nottingham Forest thrash West Ham 3-0

By Tosin Omojola

Nigerian international Ola Aina powered a stunning shot into the top corner from the edge of the penalty arc, contributing to Nottingham Forest’s dominant 3-0 victory over West Ham.

Chris Wood opened the scoring for the in-form Forest side in the first half. Former Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi extended the lead, with his cross sneaking past Lukasz Fabianski at the back post.

In the 79th minute, Taiwo Awoniyi came on to replace Chris Wood, further strengthening Forest’s attack.

This win marks Forest’s third consecutive Premier League victory, a feat they haven’t achieved since May 1999. The triumph pushes Forest up to third in the table, one point above title contenders Arsenal and six points behind league leaders Liverpool.
