Fans of Priscilla Ojo Mkambala, daughter of popular Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo and wife of a Tanzanian music star, have distributed Ramadan relief materials to members of a community in Lagos to support households during the holy month in celebration of her 25th birthday.

The initiative, carried out in collaboration with the Kokun Foundation, a charity organisation focused on feeding the needy and vulnerable, was announced on Friday as a birthday surprise for Priscilla. The organisation disclosed that over 200 women, widows and other residents in the community benefited from the gesture.

Items packaged in the food box, tagged “Ramadan Food Box”, included 1kg of rice, 1kg of Oloyin beans, 1kg of garri, 500ml of palm oil, Maggi seasoning, salt, tomato paste, spaghetti and sugar.

Videos from the event showed elderly residents and other members of the community gathered at a location as they prayed for Priscilla.

Corroborating the development, Iyabo Ojo shared the video on her Instagram page with the caption, “Woooo, this is so heartwarming,” thanking JP fans and the Kokun Foundation for the thoughtful gesture.
