The National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, has reaffirmed the federal government’s determination to tackle the issue of insecurity across Nigeria, expressing confidence that peace and stability will soon be restored nationwide.
During a visit to Damaturu, Yobe State, on Friday, Ribadu emphasized the government’s ongoing efforts to improve security. The visit was part of a condolence mission following a recent insurgent attack in the state.

“The federal government is working tirelessly to end insecurity,” Ribadu stated. “It’s only a matter of time before the entire nation is secure.”
Accompanying Ribadu on the visit was Wale Edun, the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, who also extended condolences to the families of those affected by the attack.
Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, expressed appreciation to the federal government delegation, noting that their presence provided a sense of solidarity to the people of the state.
He also called on Nigerians to continue supporting and praying for President Bola Tinubu’s administration, stating, “His success is the nation’s success.”
