FG enlists more motor parks for Nigerians using 50 per cent discount return trips

The Federal Government has listed more motor parks where Nigerians can enjoy a 50 per cent rebate on transport fares for return trips during the festive season.

The announcement was made by Dada Olusegun, the special assistant to President Bola Tinubu on social media via his X account on Friday.

Ahead of the festive holidays, Westernpost reported that the federal government announced plans to subsidise all luxury buses for ease of transportation for citizens willing to travel ahead of the festive holidays.

This initiative is aimed at making it more affordable for people to travel and reunite with their loved ones during the holiday season.

The scheme is not only designed to ease the financial burden of travellers during the Yuletide period but also to encourage people to celebrate with their loved ones.

This medium also reported that at least 125 residents in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), have benefited from President Bola Tinubu’s intervention scheme on Christmas Day, which is part of the implementation of the 50 per cent discount introduced for Nigerians willing to travel during the Yuletide period.
