Lion Club to partner FG on eye care hospital, Diabetes and cancer centre

A non-profit group, Lion’s Club International, says it will be partnering with the federal government to build a N3.5 billion Eye Care Hospital, Diabetes & Cancer Research Centre in Nigeria.
The minister of health, Ali Pate disclosed this In a post via his X platform on Monday.
He also expressed his appreciation to the Lions club in what he described as their “continued dedication to boosting access to world class specialized healthcare services to our vulnerable populations through generous subsidies and other community extension work.

“Strategic partnerships are essential to building efficient, equitable and quality health systems and improving vulnerable populations’ access to basic healthcare services and social welfare programs.
