Fire incident at Lagos Airport was minor- FAAN
The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has said the reported fire outbreak at the Lagos International Airport in Ikeja, was a minor incident.
FAAN was reacting to the viral media report that fire gut the e-arrival terminal on Thursday.
the agency said that it was not a fire related incident, adding that it did not disrupt any airport operation.
FAAN made this known in a short statement posted on its X handle.
The agency said ” Today’s incident at the Murtala Muhammed International airport was limited to a minor wire spark in one of the units and has already been addressed. It was not a fire-related incident and did not disrupt any airport operations”.
