First Lady Oluremi Tinubu conferred with ‘Sarauniyar Yaki’ (Queen Warrior) title in Gombe

First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has been conferred with the traditional title of Sarauniyar Yaki (Queen Warrior) of Akko Emirate in Gombe State.
The title, bestowed on her by the Lamido Akko, Alhaji Umar Muhammad Atiku, recognizes her commitment to defending the vulnerable and championing social causes across the country. The conferment took place during her two-day official visit to the state.
In her remarks, the First Lady expressed gratitude for the honor and reaffirmed her dedication to promoting the welfare of the girl child. She also sought the support of traditional rulers in driving her advocacy initiatives nationwide.
According to a report by NTA, the ceremony was attended by Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, and the Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, Hon. Usman Bello Kumo, among other dignitaries.
As part of her visit, Mrs. Tinubu will also flag off the national launch of the Renewed Hope Initiative Flow With Confidence program, a menstrual health intervention designed to support schoolgirls.
