Gateway Air unveils nationwide flight routes from April 13

Gateway Air, the Ogun State-owned airline, has announced the launch of new flight operations connecting major cities across Nigeria as part of efforts to improve connectivity and expand travel options.

The development was disclosed in a statement issued over the weekend by the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to Governor Dapo Abiodun, Kayode Akinmade.

According to the statement, the airline will commence scheduled services on Monday, April 13, 2026, with routes including Iperu–Abuja, Abuja–Port Harcourt, Abuja–Calabar, Abuja–Jos, and Iperu–Kano.

The airline said the one-way flights will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, offering passengers more flexible and convenient travel options. Economy fares are expected to start from as low as ₦100,000.

It added that the new routes represent a significant step towards improving regional accessibility, while also promoting economic growth and strengthening connectivity across the country.

Passengers have been advised to make early bookings and monitor the airline’s official communication channels for updated schedules and further information.

Gateway Air reaffirmed its commitment to delivering safe, efficient, and customer-focused air travel services.
