First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has reassured Nigerians that President Bola Tinubu’s administration is working tirelessly to improve the country and alleviate the challenges faced by citizens.
Speaking at an Iftar gathering with former First Ladies, female National Assembly members, and wives of lawmakers, the First Lady emphasized the importance of compassion and mutual support.

She encouraged Nigerians to assist those in need, stating, “Take one person at a time and lend a helping hand. This will go a long way in easing the hardship of others.”
Senator Tinubu also reflected on the rare coincidence of Ramadan and Lent this year, describing it as a divine arrangement.

“It is a time of sober reflection for our Muslim brothers and sisters, and even for our Christian brothers and sisters observing Lent. God has ordained it to be so at this time in our nation.”
She urged Muslims to uphold the virtues of Ramadan and continue seeking God’s mercy for the country.

Earlier, the wife of the Vice President, Nana Shettima, expressed gratitude to the First Lady for hosting the Iftar and called on Nigerians to continually pray for the nation and its leaders.

The event featured a lecture on the spiritual significance of Ramadan, delivered by Professor Fatima Mukhtar, Vice-Chancellor of Azman University, Kano. Special prayers were also offered for the nation, the President, and all citizens.
