Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has extended his felicitations to President Bola Tinubu and the people of Nigeria on the country’s 64th Independence anniversary.
Governor AbdulRazaq also specifically congratulated the people of Kwara State on this significant milestone.
His congratulatory message was contained in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, on Tuesday in Ilorin.
“I am optimistic that this country is destined for greatness. Together, we can achieve not only the dreams of our founding fathers for Nigeria but also surpass them, as everyone contributes in their own way,” he said in the statement.
“But we must understand that nation-building is a marathon and an endeavor that requires collective efforts. I commend the President for his bold reforms and the palliatives to mitigate their initial impact on the people, including the significant efforts to boost food security and critical national infrastructure.
“These initiatives are being complemented at the subnational levels with enhanced infrastructural development, investments in human capital, and various economic initiatives and social protection measures designed to improve the living conditions of the people.
“I join Mr. President and other patriots in appealing for patience and support as we navigate this phase. The rewards will be greater for all. Happy Independence Anniversary, dear compatriots!” the statement added.
