Gov AbdulRazaq inspects IICC construction project, lauds quality, pace of operations

The Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, inspected the ongoing construction of the International Conference Center (IICC) on Wednesday in Ilorin.
The IICC is one of the several projects which the AbdulRazaq-led administration has embarked on to refocus the local service economy of the state along technology, innovation, conferencing and hospitality, tourism, creativity, and agribusiness.
The Governor, who revealed that he was impressed with the pace of work and execution standards, expressed optimism that the project will be delivered later this year.
In company of his Special Adviser on Special Duties, Alhaji AbdulRazaq Jiddah, Governor AbdulRazaq was taken round the facility by the Construction Manager, Engr. Kola Olowookere.
“I’m here to inspect the project and see the progress being made. I must confess that we are happy with the development and are scheduled to deliver on time this year. Therefore, I can assure you that the International Conference Centre is set to be delivered this year, God willing,” the Governor stated.
Speaking on the standard of operations, AbdulRazaq said, “Yes, we are happy with the quality of work so far and we hope they will deliver as per specification and right on the schedule.”
