Governor Abiodun pays courtesy visit to Olubadan, hails monarch’s leadership

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, on Monday paid a congratulatory and courtesy visit to the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty Oba Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja (Arusa I), at his palace in Ibadan.

The governor described the engagement as warm and honourable, noting that the visit provided an opportunity to celebrate the monarch and convey the goodwill of the government and people of Ogun State.

Abiodun praised the Olubadan’s distinguished public service record as a former senator and former governor of Oyo State, describing him as a proven leader whose dedication to the progress and welfare of his people has remained unwavering.

He added that Oba Ladoja’s experience, wisdom and statesmanship continue to inspire many across the South-West region.

The governor prayed for continued strength, wisdom and good health for the monarch, expressing hope that his reign would bring lasting peace, unity and prosperity to Ibadanland and Oyo State as a whole.

On his part, Oba Ladoja appreciated the governor for the visit and encouraged him to continue to demonstrate good leadership.
