Governor Sanwo-Olu welcomes US streamer Kai Cenat to Lagos

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Wednesday received renowned American internet personality and streamer, Kai Cenat, at Lagos House, Marina.
The visit was confirmed by the governor’s Senior Special Assistant on New Media, Jubril A. Gawat, who shared updates on X about the high-profile meeting.
Cenat, making his second trip to Lagos, engaged the governor in discussions about his experiences in the state and his plans to develop initiatives aimed at benefiting children and youth across Lagos.
The globally popular streamer commands a large following on platforms such as Twitch and YouTube, where his content attracts millions of young viewers worldwide.

Officials did not disclose Cenat’s full itinerary or the specific programmes he intends to launch during his stay.
This visit follows a similar appearance by another American streamer, IShowSpeed, whose Lagos tour also drew considerable attention and online engagement.
