Celebrity designer Veekee James announces pregnancy with first child

Celebrity designer Veekee James Atere, alongside her husband, Mr. Femi Atere, has announced that they are expecting their first child.
The couple, who got married in 2024, shared the emotional moment they realised they were expecting after a year of waiting.
In a video shared on her Instagram page, Veekee was visibly overwhelmed, breaking down in tears and singing praises to God, describing the moment as “divine timing.”
The fashion designer used her experience to inspire others who are waiting for the fruit of the womb, emphasising that delays don’t mean denial and that God’s timing is always deliberate.
She added that while some people may have tried for years or lost hope, testimonies arrive exactly when God intends, ensuring that the glory remains His alone.
Veekee also prayed for those trusting God for similar blessings, proclaiming that as long as it is God’s will, their own testimonies will soon arrive.
Veekee James is a prominent Nigerian fashion designer, gospel singer, and entrepreneur. She is the founder of the Veekee James fashion brand and the convener of Zion Warship, a monthly gospel concert. She received the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award (AMVCA) for Best Designer of the Year in 2021 and released her first single, Nothing Less, in 2023.
