Governor Uzodimma to unveil book reflecting on APC’s decade in power

Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma is set to present his new book, A Decade of Impactful Progressive Governance in Nigeria, on September 30. The book provides an insider’s perspective on the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) party’s journey since it came to power in 2015.

According to a statement from the Commissioner for Information, Declan Emelumba, Governor Uzodimma, who also serves as Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum, uses his unique position to chronicle significant political and governance developments over the past ten years.

The book, consisting of ten chapters, includes a foreword written by former APC National Chairman and Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje. It aims to serve as an insightful resource for both party members and the general public.

Governor Uzodimma emphasized the objective nature of the book, noting that it honestly highlights both the achievements and challenges faced by the APC from May 2015 to May 2025. It is not intended as a promotional piece but rather a critical review of the party’s performance.

The narrative covers a broad range of topics including the history of progressive movements in Nigeria, a comparison between pre-APC and APC governance, and the key sectoral achievements of the party during its tenure.

Furthermore, the book discusses future prospects for progressive governance and the APC’s vision for Nigeria’s economic development and growth.

Top political figures and dignitaries from across party lines are expected to attend the book launch, marking the occasion as a significant moment in Nigeria’s political discourse.
