H1 2026: Fidelity Bank awaits CBN’s approval

Fidelity Bank Plc on Tuesday said it awaits the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) half year (H1) ended June 30, 2026 audited result and accounts approval.
The Company Secretary, Fidelity Bank, Ezinwa Unuigboje in a signed statement to shareholders, Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), and other stakeholders stated that the bourse has approved a further extension of time for publication of its Audited Financial Statements (AFS) for the H1 2026.
Unuigboje in the statement noted that the NGX had earlier approved an extension of time to September 30, 2026, as stated in the Bank’s press release of August 21, 2026.
“The AFS will be published upon receipt of regulatory approval” the statement explained.
Unuigboje added that, “Premised on the foregoing, the Bank’s Insiders and their connected Persons are reminded that the trading window for dealing in its shares is currently closed and shall remain closed until 24 hours after publication of the AFS for H1 2026 and the Unaudited Financial Statements for the period ended 30 September 2026.”
