‘He is now your boss, respect him’ – Otedola gives wedding advice to daughter, Temi

Billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, has shared heartfelt advice with his daughter, Temi, and her husband, singer Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, during their wedding reception in Iceland.
Temi and Mr Eazi tied the knot in August 2025 in a private ceremony, following earlier celebrations in Monaco on May 9 — coinciding with the late Mrs Ajibade’s birthday — and a Yoruba traditional wedding at the Otedola family home in Dubai in July.
In a video from the Iceland reception that has since circulated online, Otedola praised the couple’s love and entrepreneurial spirit, describing their union as “made in heaven.”

He urged Temi to prioritise her marriage above all else, advising her to yield to her husband’s leadership. “You found a great guy, a blessed guy from a decent family. He’s your husband, your boss. There’s no more dad, don’t call me up,” Otedola told his daughter.
Commending their shared drive, the billionaire added, “One thing I like about both of you is that you’re truly in love with each other. Temi is an entrepreneur, Tosin is an entrepreneur. You match each other. You are real hustlers, and it has always paid off. Continue to love.”
He further counselled the newlyweds to resolve disagreements privately. “When you have issues, just keep it within yourselves. Never call any friend. Keep it within your walls, and God will bless your marriage,” he said.
Rounding off his speech, Otedola presented the couple with a special gift. “I thought of what to give this couple. I’ve splintered my savings account and brought my gift. You are both entrepreneurs — out-think, out-manoeuvre, and out-spend. You’ll be great people,” he said.
After the ceremony, Temi updated her surname on social media from Otedola to Ajibade, a move that has reignited debate within feminist circles over whether women should adopt their husband’s surname or retain their maiden names after marriage.
