Herdsman arrested for stabbing farmer in Benin
A 25-year-old herdsman, Idris Ibrahim, has been arrested by operatives of the Edo State Police Command for allegedly stabbing a 36-year-old farmer, Adi Benedith in the stomach.
According to the Police Command’s spokesman, SP Moses Yamu, the incident happened on December 3 this year at “the victim’s farm located at Ugbaiyon village along Benin-Agbor road”.
The suspect will be charged to court, police said.
